Scenes from the weekend...

The weather was beyond gorgeous. We spent Saturday out-eating, running errands, driving through Loch Raven...it was absolutely perfect. To add to that, I was offered a job so we celebrated with breakfast at the best restaurant in town, Clementine.
Here's his, there was no good light to get mine:

French Toast casserole, Duroc bacon, cheese grits. Amazing, right? I had the Elvis: Belgian waffle with whipped cream/nutella topping with pecans and bacon bits. omg. Still full...

Fresh gel manicure, with short nails, for my new job:

I am a huge fan of the OPI gel manicure: this is Strawberry Margarita. Lasts for nearly 2 weeks, with no chipped polish, it protects my fragile nails and looks great with very little effort. Definitely recommended.


In a few minutes, I'm heading out to DC to pick up my girl, who has been with her Dad. She will have spent less than 48 hours in Richmond, and packed FOUR bags. It took me 2 trips to get everything in the car on Friday. She is definitely my child! She's been 13 since September, and so far, it's been great. I'm cautiously optimistic for the looming "Teen Years."
